SUMMARY:Educational Event - Seaplane invasive species detection and mitigation
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Location: The boat ramp area adjacent to the marina on the northwest shore of the lake. \nOn May 13\, 2026\, the Colorado Seaplane Community\, will bring an ICON A5 amphibious seaplane to the Cherry Creek State Park.  The aircraft will be used to train area seaplane pilots and\, if they wish to participate\, Colorado’s Parks and Wildlife (CPW) personnel in the process of invasive species detection and mitigation.  This event is open to everyone without cost.  Attendees will be responsible for their own State Park entry fee. \nFor more information\, visit the Colorado Seaplane Initiative website at www.coseaplanes.org\,  or call Ray Hawkins (303) 710-2497\, e-mail ray@soaringhawk.com.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
