The 13th Annual International Aviation Archeology and Wreckchasing Symposium is the most anticipated and well-attended of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, attracting both professional and avocational archaeologists, aviation and aerospace historians, writers, wreck-chasers, and adventurers.

Symposium
There will be nine (9) featured speakers, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with a thirty (30) minute lunch break. Registration is $65.00, which includes printed material, morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as a sandwich buffet at noon, sponsored by the Colorado Aviation Historical Society (CAHS). Post Symposium Dinner
In addition to the symposium, a special dinner for symposium attendees will be held at the Hope Hotel and Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center. An exclusive cash bar, offering sometime to relax and socialize, will open at 5:30 p.m. in the foyer. Keynote Speaker
Dr. Colin Colbourn
Dr. Colin Colbourn is the Lead Historian for Project Recover, directing the archival research, case analysis, and global field investigations that guide the organization’s mission to locate U.S. service members missing in action. He collaborates with marine scientists from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the University of Delaware, using advanced technologies to refine search efforts, and conducts oral histories with communities that witnessed fallen service members’ final moments. Dr. Colbourn holds a Ph.D. in U.S. History from the University of Southern Mississippi and teaches U.S. Military History as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Delaware. His work has been featured on Discovery Channel’s Expedition Unknown, the History Channel, and various podcasts.
